Yoto parental controls: what parents can and cannot control

Yoto gives you several useful manual controls. What it does not give you is automatic, recurring scheduling. Here is the honest split.

CapabilityNative YotoWith Audinook
Maximum volumeManual settingManual + scheduled caps
Sleep timerYes (one-shot)Plus recurring bedtime lock
Night ModeDisplay onlyPlus playback enforcement + wake light
Recurring bedtimeNoYes, weekday/weekend
Quiet timeNoYes
Temporary overrideManualOne-tap, auto-expiring
Activity / proof it's workingLimitedActivity log + protection monitoring

None of this replaces Yoto's content and library management, which remains in the Yoto app. Audinook focuses only on when and how the player may be used.
