Limit Yoto volume automatically during quiet time

Yoto has a manual maximum-volume setting, but it doesn't change by time of day. If you want gentle afternoons or quiet early mornings, you need a schedule.

Native Yoto

You can set a maximum volume on the player, and change it by hand. It stays where you put it until you change it again.

What Audinook adds

Audinook's Quiet Time lets you allow listening during chosen hours while capping the volume automatically. If the volume goes above your cap during that window, Audinook turns it back down, and restores normal volume when the window ends.

Setup

  1. Connect your Yoto and choose a player.
  2. Add a Quiet Time window (e.g. 13:00–15:00) and a maximum volume.
  3. Optionally add a gentle "wake window" for early mornings.
